Hi Guys.
Nice to find your forum, iam sure it will be helpful for me. The first bike I owned was a Triumph Cub bought new in 1962, I went off the rails after 3 years riding it, and have since owned many Brands of motorcycles , but never any British bikes. So now at a good old age of 74 I have just probably bought my last bike, a nicely appointed 2008 Bonny T100.
As we are into our Classic Bike racing here in NZ we thought the Bonneville would make a nice addition to our stable in the Classic style. In the good old 60s I used to ride with mates who had Bonnies so have always had a soft spot for them.

Two tone, not sure of the colours but a burgundy and cream, it's the exact copy of the 69 bike iam told.

New to Triumphs so not to familiar yet with Meridian or Hinckley, I thought this would have been a Hinckley manufactured in Thailand.

That would have been the Hinckley factory. Meriden ceased to exist in 1983 long before John Bloor revived the name.
Almost everything is done in Thailand now.
