I've been riding off and on for over 40 years. Owned a variety of bikes. My first, a 1970 650cc Triumph Tiger TR6R, British racing green, loved that bike and color. Wasn't 'til sold her I realized my local motor vehicle dept registered her as a Triumph TR6 car.
1976 H-D Sportster bored to 1100cc engine blueprinted and balanced, rebuilt bike from ground up; 2006 Yamaha V-Star 1100, totaled after being broadsided in a parking lot; present bike, 2023 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster black and white.
Good to be here...

Welcome from sunny North Texas (most days). Be sure to post up a pic of your current ride. You may also want to drop over to Triumph Bobber/Speedmaster forum for additional info: Triumph Bobber Forum

Glad you are here.
Obliged atomsplitter, thank you. I've been to the Bobber/Speedmaster forum, that's how I stumbled in here. I was looking for rear brake lever positioning advice. Found it, great place here. Quick site question? Is there a way to create an avatar here?

Obliged sikatri thank you. I hail from NJ where if you're a new rider you have one week to get very, very good or life will be short. Even driving here scares me
I can relate. Houston traffic and streets are not for the weak of heart. There are times of day I stay away from certain areas driving. There are even more areas and times of day I avoid riding.
