Been busy trying to catch up on loads of reading here.

@AJ, nice to see an ex-pat.
Montreal probably has changed much since if you haven't returned in long while.
Great place still, but the roads are falling apart.
Its good I got a dual sport that will take a beating from our roads. LOL.

I'll try get some pics posted asap.

That exhaust type is the scrambler (serious off road) exhaust style. The TR6C models used it in the 60's and 70's as well as other makes of off road bikes such as Honda. Desert racing teams used that style.
