I just brought a 2001 Bonneville, hooked after I took it for a test ride. Traded in my old Goldwing for it. Fantastic :ya2: :ya2: bike it felt like I was really riding it. The only thing I woould get is a screen. Does any one know of any suppliers in Europe , Germany or UK where I can get a good one, the Triumph on seems rather expensive. Pick it up in a couple of days.

Congratulations Tuck now we will be waiting for the first ride reports. As far as the screen goes I cannot help as I have never even thought about getting one but I know quite a few of the other members here should have some good advice for you on this :y18:

Congratulations on your Bonnie. They are great rides. There is a member on the New Triumph Bonneville Forum who has over 100,000 miles (160,934 kilometers) on his 01 Bonnie. He has done no engine work on it and just the routine maintenance. He did install a Barrett clutch a while back.

Mae Lyne and I both have the Triumph Summer Windscreens on our Bonnies. Check Ebay for these; they come up fairly regularly. Givi makes a screen that works also. Norman Hyde is a good source; but they are a little on the pricey side. The summer screen works fine for our climate. I have the Triumph Classic wind screen; but I have never used it. If I lived in a colder climate, I would use it in the winter. It is larger than the summer screen.
