Nice one Shane enjoy the new ride as I am sure with the new business you need some time off to ride.
yes I'm starting to get a bit of cabin fever i started on november 1st 2015 and ive only had 4 days off in that hole time , christmas day, boxing day new years day and a very wet sunday ! its been 7 days a week and some times up to 16 hours a day .
so ive decided theres more to life than work and plan to start having sundays off and get some riding time in :D

I just traveled to Port Clinton, PA a couple of days ago to pick up a 1992 BMW K 75 RT ABS. I bought it from a dealership where the bike was on consignment. Beautiful drive up to trailer it back. 1000 mile trip. Left at 5 AM and got back home at 9 PM. Well worth the ride up and back. My plans are to take the fairings off. Add two front signal lights, side mirrors, and a windshield and turn it into a street bike.

That fairing does make it look very chunky so I will be looking out for your conversion photos on this one.

My thoughts exactly Dave. He did not have the side bags but I plan on buying a set as soon as I find some that are in good shape and are cheaper than a new set. I will also keep the top case. That way I will be able to back some clothes if and when I go on an overnight trip. I also plan on painting it a Royal Blue. I will post more photos every time I make a change in its appearance. It is a great running and riding bike. I still enjoy my '79 Bonny more. There is just something about the way it sounds. The dealership in Port Clinton, PA (Hermy's BMW/Triumph) has a huge selection of new and used bikes (mostly BMW's and Triumph's) but they did not have a new T120.

Now if I can only find someone to give me a certified appraisal for my '79 Bonny. I want to upgrade my coverage but because of the upgrades I did on this bike (electric start, primary belt, final belt drive, external oil filter, etc.) my insurance company will not do this unless I have a certified appraisal. Do you know anyone who does this.
