The main reason you didn't see my T100 in any of the club ride pics I posted this year is because it developed leaks around the rocker boxes and the head gasket. On a long day ride I would come home with the engine covered in oil if I didn't wipe it down on every stop. This became embarrassing so I stopped riding the bike except by myself on short jaunts.
With the bikes inside for the winter I took the bull by the horns and pulled off the rocker boxes and head to fit new gaskets. I acquired a new type of rocker box gasket which is a Kevlar based product that is fitted dry without any jointing compound of any kind. I'll have to wait until next year to see if the new product works.
I just finished the job and it's all back together as seen below.

Well, almost all back together. While I had the exhaust system off I gave it a good cleaning to remove oil and crud.
Now, if I can only get the bath towel back in the linen closet before my wife sees it........ :y15:

Don't worry, just leave it on the bench, this can be the first event in your adventure sports.:y15:

Thanks for the photos Rocky TUP Man that scooter looks great and I can understand why you didn't like it covered in oil.

As to the comments from the others about your work area . . . STAY AWAY FROM MINE!!!! I've got my stuff scattered all over the place and if anyone cleaned it up I wouldn't be able to find anything. FACE

Thanks for the kind words everyone TUP
I admit to being a neatnick and can't work in a mess or chaos. I have to have a place for everything and everything in its place.
For this reason I hesitate somewhat in showing you my "wall of wrenches" (spanners); Whitworth, metric and SAE sets.
OK I'm anal. What can I say FACE but at least I know where everything is :y2:

Well, since I've gone this far I may as well show you the work bench area. This is all in my basement so I have limited space to work, but it's just big enough so as to not be confining. It's nothing special or fancy - just comfortable
As you can see my memory isn't what it used to be so I make notes and pin them up. My kids laugh at all my notes, but they are a quick referenece when needed. It works for me :y15:

Rocky it looks really nice all round, I really need to get a workshop that was my one thing I wanted when I purchased my house but it never turned out like that as I had to build the apartment for the wife's parents. I have my Wendy House where I store the bike and odds and ends but it is not close to a place that I could call a workshop or even convert it into one.

Very shortly after I bought this house I built my first workbench. That was about 49 years ago and it's the one farther from the camera in the picture. I'm a home handyman with lots of things to do to the house after we bought it (and since) so I needed a place to work and store my tools.
I did a lot of wood working back then, but these days it's more or less a motorcycle workshop.
A few years later I panneled part of the basement as a rec room/play area for my two kids. Years later I turned it into my hobby area. In the winter I have to store two of my bikes in the hobby area so it gets a little crowded, but not so crowded that I can't use the space.
There are only of the two of us living here now and the house is probably too big for us, but it's nice to have lots of space so we aren't underfoot with each other :y13: :y15:

Don't force me to go out and take a photo of my garage (shop), you would have a heart attack if you saw it.

Here's my wood shop with my helpers back when it was clean before my wife started storing stuff in there

Rocky when I hit the lottery I am going to contract you to set up my shop area. TUP
