Well I have just had repairs done to my swimming pool and they had to drain all the water out of it. So I was told that from today I can start filling it up with water. So at around 07:30am I put the hosepipe into the pool to start the process, it has now be running for around 7 hours and it looks like this

I think this is going to take a long time to fill this pool

Are you sure that there's no leak? Mine is a 16x32 and a garden hose does more than that in 7 hours, I'm sure. If all is well, then you have a low rate of water flow.
Whatever, don't pee in the pool.............it won't raise the level all that much: Jim

No leaks this is why the pool was drained to fix the crack it did have in it. This morning it had not even covered the bottom of the pool with water and basically only the deep end was done. It is now 12pm and the water is just starting to reach the wall of the shallow end of the pool. So far I have put in around 15 000 liter = 3 962.580 gallon [US, liquid] of water into the pool. I have now connected a pipe directly from where the main water supply feeds the house so I am now getting a better rate of water flow into the pool.

I have a solar blanked for it and in summer it takes the temp up to an average of 31 degree Celsius = 87.8 degree Fahrenheit, the one hot day I actually found the water to be a bit warm and had to get out after a short period.

Can't believe it, or I guess I can because it's New England, but were back to summer again. Even rode with my mesh jacket last weekend, albeit with a sweatshirt under the windshirt. Still, I'm getting my pool closed on next Monday.
