It looks like I'm able to keep my summer vacation same time as one of my friends. So we are planning to use some of days in longer bike trip.

The destination? Pretty small place. Direct distance 1100km. Sea water will be there about +5C in the summer season. Will that look familiar to anybody :)?

We are planning to sleep in real camping places. Not taking a tent/hammock, but simply booking a small cottage (beforehand) to every nights. That is good for sleep, we are able to take shower every day, it will be easy to cook, easy to wash and dry your clothes and your equipment ... bad that you will really need to follow your original plan. No matter will it rain or not. I guess you can not get all.

Looks like Deadhorse Al;aska. Some years back the Iron Butt Rally had that as one of the destinations from Marietta, GA. It was there and back in 11 days for a gazillion bonus points. The other option was the four corners of the US in 11 days, with bonus points awarded for stops in Kentucky etc. If that is Deadhorse take extra fuel and tires (tubes) you'll need them.

Someway not very far and on the other hand very very far.

That place is called Pykeija. It is here. It is in Norway, but very close to Russian border and Murmansk.

Finnish immigrant created that small fishing village in the 18th century. You can still survive there both Norwegian and Finnish (English and Swedish too).

But as they say ... the trip alone is more important than the destination.

Enjoy that trip. Sounds awesome.

We need to open up the north east end of the Bay of Fundy to the Northumberland Strait and send a new branch of the Gulfstream through .
Sounds like a plan. Though it varies, the Gulf Stream is about three to eight miles off shore from Dania Beach. I'm about 3.5 miles from the beach.

If the sea levels rise much, the Tantramar Marsh(a big low laying area of land between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, for those non locals) will flood, effectively creating what you say. That will also put PEI half under water. Be careful what you ask for.
Also, the Gulf Stream does indeed feed the Bay of Fundy(hence the highest tides in the world), but I have yet to see the water warm enough to swim in for very long.

Certainly not warming the Fundy up . I believe the Gulf Stream has a small branch that feeds the Gulf of St Lawrence and that’s what makes our north shore beaches swimable . It can hit 75 F some years but it’s rare , bath water temperature for the regulars .

I don't swim until the water temp is at least 79 F. And 75 F is a cold shower, not a warm bath!!! BGRIN

I would love to visit a place like that, I went to Alaska flew into the backwoods and fished for trout for a week, had a blast. Keep us informed about this place, nothing like adventure!
Well, couldn’t promise you an Alaska type trip on Prince Edward Island. More like what you think of Ireland to be,I imagine. Rolling farmland and a coastline dotted with lots of fishing villages . It’s the most densely populated province in Canada and we do have a village called Alaska . Trout fishing is a big thing too .

Do you have similar looking places in Alaska? This is the most northest point of continental Europe.
Would be interesting to visit there too, but I might leave that to another year / another bike trip. I want to ride reasonable km/day.

To get there you will need to cross the Mageroysundet. I think nowadays there is a costly tunnel (not a ferry connection).
