...is spray wax ! Ok, i know i've touted silicone detailer as a dressing. And i still think it's the best on the black cases. But for over a month now i totally changed my routine and have been using ONE product on my bike and nothing else. the kicker is the bike looks shinier and better than ever and stays like that for a long time. Crazy as it sounds i've been using mothers FX spray wax on everything except the seat and tires as a one step clean/shine. Unless you allow your bike to get real filthy and don't clean it often, anything wet will remove dirt and such, so the spray way works as good as a cleaner in that regard. The bike not only never looked so deeply shined, but i don't even have to use a cleaner except on greasy parts which is almost never. It works better on all surfaces than anything i've ever used except for silicone on the black cases, but even there it does just fine. So much so that i haven't been bothering with the silicone. So not only am i using it as a one step product, but it's fast and long lasting. It takes me no more than 10 minutes to clean the entire bike to the point it shines like a jewel. and to top it off i was thrilled that even after a week of riding the 34 mile round trip to work and back the bike still looked blinding. It also for some reason looks deeper and richer than even mother's best waxes, and even works better on chrome than anything else i've used.

I know i get over excited about cleaning/dressing products, but i'm telling you....i will still use silicone every now and then on the cases, but other than that i will be using FX spray exclusively on my bike for now on as both cleaner and shine. If you allow your bike to get really dirty it may not work the same for you. But if you tend to keep your bike pretty clean and do some sort of cleaning maybe at least every couple weeks, try this. I'm totally and 100% satisfied and thrilled with this stuff. Wish i realized this long ago.

Good to know this. I always use the wax that you mix into the water and it seems to work a treat. I still have so much cleaning stuff I have never opened so I tend never to look at this stuff when I am out shopping

Funny thing is, i found it ok on the car but prefered detailer ! On the bike theres no comparison, even on the glossy painted tank and fenders which you would think would be the same as the car look way better then with detailer. Odd. Whats even odder is it gives a deeper shine than the waxes i've used.

I use furniture polish in the spray can. After I wash the bike, I just spray on a coat of furniture polish and dry with a soft towel. It's cheap and great for the "hard to reach" places because it leaves no residue and shines really well. On the tank and front mudguard, I use Zep pure Carnauba wax.

Yea, I'm lazy!! So what??

You got to watch those sisters, they are never like the "good" one. My wife's sister is a hypochondriac nut-bar!

Dave, you are right about that. My wife's sisters are certifiable nut cases.

This stuff is extremely good !
Super easy to use , makes bike look
great .
You can wipe it on mirrors , squeeze mirror
pretty hard with thumb , or drag finger a cross
lens , like trying to leave a smudge
and you see nothing.
Really deep look to paint also
