Gidday, just bought a 2006 Speedmaster, lovely jigger to ride. Need original mufflers & rear footpegs to get Roadworthy certificate. Is there anyone in Victoria Australia, preferably near South Gippsland that might have these for sale? Need the rear peg brackets too but can make them if I need too! Thanks, Lozz

Mufflers from facebook marketplace, Made solid brackets from steel offcuts & used pegs off one off my other bikes highway pegs. All painted, fitted & tested. Now off to get Roadworthy certificate (Aust.)

Lozzman do you have pics of the brackets you made ? I have just purchased a Speedy with rear footpegs but no brackets lol

I don't have pics yet but I used steel bar & made a vee with bottom running parallel to muffler & top at angle same as rear shock. Overlapped them Welded onto each other from behind to keep neat.
Holes at one end of each bar to match frame lugs & one at over lap for pegs. Rounded ends with grinder & file & painted satin black & had a chrome boot guard that I fitted over top. Had to buy longer bolts & put a spacer on top of bracket top make plate level . Bottom bar 18cm long, top 20cm. Drilled holes in plates first & screwed on lugs then overlapped the joining(Peg) end & clamped with vice grips & marked with pencil to get angles. Hope this helps, will take a couple of pics & see if I can attach to a later message . Lozz
