Saturday dawned bright and clear under a brilliant blue sky. A slight breeze was blowing from east southeast. Temp was 76F / 24.9 C. Ilse and I climbed aboard the Bonneville T120 and headed north to Vero Beach for a 121 mile / 195 kilometer ride to Mrs Mac's Fillin Station.
We joined 14 other riders from the Central Florida MSTA group for great fellowship and delicious food in a very quaint setting. Most of our rides are to restaurants with scenic water vistas. This restaurant isn't on the water; but the decor is unique harking back to the 1950's and 60's.
The food was very well prepared and delicious. Service was superb. The menus are bound in license plates. There's a lot to see on the walls.
All too soon it was time to head south and for home. I refueled in Ft Pierce and again in Dania Beach. I like to park my bikes with full tanks. A great day, good food, comraderie, and fun ride.
