What difference a year makes. Last year when we rode to this restaurant, we has 23 attending; this year there were six of us.
This morning dawned clear, bright, calm and comfortable, for Florida, at 76 F. Four of us left my house at 7:30 AM for a Central Florida MSTA brunch ride to the Grills Riverside Deck and Tiki Bar in Melbourne. It was a pleasant 68 mile ride for us. Two other riders joined us for a delicious brunch.
Grills is located on the Indian River, The view over the water is lovely and peaceful. As always, the camaraderie was great. The food was delicious.
The ride back home was considerably warmer; but not unbearable. It was a fine way to spend an August morning.
