This is just so nice to see

A motorcyclist in Oklahoma made headlines around the world this week after rescuing a kitten that somehow found itself stuck in an intersection. The woman, identified only as Laney, filmed the whole incident with her GoPro, and the video has already been seen 2.6 million times on YouTube since it was uploaded on Monday.

I don't think I have knowingly killed an animal with a vehicle, but I've had two birds bounce off my helmet.
My father was an avid hunter and fisherman. Because I was born and raised on a farm I trapped rabbits for food and muskrats for their fur pelts which brought in extra money for the family.
It's just what you did as a farm kid in the 1940's and that was the normal way of life.
We moved to the city when I was 13 years-old and left that life behind. As I grew up I developed a different view of animals and never hunted again - much to the chagrin of my father who couldn't understand my new point of view. Hunting was what men did!
He continued to go on deer and moose hunts until he was well into his 70's, but I never shared his passion for the hunt.

Well I could never hunt anything and if I had to have to kill my own animals for food then I would be big on these things

I eat limited amounts of beef and pork, but try to not think about how that piece of meat ended up in the store :y150:
I love vegetables and could probably become a vegetarian, but I also consume a lot of chicken and fish which is what I eat more than 50% of the time in one form or another.
Most of what I have on a dinner plate is vegetables with a small side of meat, chicken or fish.
This province is squarely on the Atlantic Ocean so we get lots of fresh fish.
