Hey guys!

My fiance, Alex and I recently went on a road trip across America on a TRIUMPH SCRAMBLER 900. Many people thought we could not do it on a small bike like that, but through the trip we've proved them wrong (by 'many people' I meant all the Harley riders, haha). Triumph bikes are hardy bikes!

Note: I do not ride a bike. I survived being a pillion rider on my Alex's beautiful modern classic scrambler. Umm I am having difficulty uploading a photo of it right now. When I upload it it gives me a red exclamation mark beside it. Maybe because I am still a newbie?
:y10:

I've been with Alex for about 5 years now. And since day one, I've known that he loves 2 things: Flying and Riding. He has always dreamt of taking a long bike trip through somewhere beautiful and scenic. I longed for the day I could help him accomplish that.

Anyway, I was in Toronto with Alex for 6 months before I had to fly to California to visit my mom. About a little more than 2 weeks before I was scheduled to fly off, Alex came to me one night with a huge smile on his face and asked, "Cancel your flight." What?!! And then he said sheepishly, "Let's RIDE there!"

And so begins the trip of our lives. Toronto > Michigan > Illinois > Iowa > Nebraska > Colorado > Nevada > California! WOW!!

Here's the video I spent about a week to edit and piece together.

I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed riding through the beautiful America. It was breathtaking and we were truly humbled by all the people we met and nature we've seen!

I wish I could find a woman like you to take that trip on my Tiger 800 XC. (I had one until she died 19 yrs ago and haven't found anyone since. Most women think I am going to die on my bike). He is a lucky man and your are a rare jewel of a woman.

Great video! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Congratulations on the ring! TUP TUP

You two picked a really gorgeous route. I have ridden cross country on and older Triumph back in the day - solo. I have ridden half way across the country on my modern Bonnie - solo. You have guts to make that trip two up on Scrambler. You have my respect.

Dear Jimbojones, I am so sorry to hear that... I am sure you will find someone soon enough who shares your passion. Keep your head up and enjoy the ride :-)

Jaw dropping-ly brilliant. What a joy it was to watch your video. Simply amazing, and you were even thoughtful enough to water the plants along the way. Can't wait for the Canadian trip. Oh and congratulations to you both.
