I have a pair of these ear pieces and mic for my cell phone, something like this one and keep it rolled up in my jeans pocket so I have it if needed.

Anyway washing day came around and I forgot to remove it and it went through the washing machine, so I thought it was toast and would have to purchase a new one.

I was very surprised to find it was as good as new and nice and clean when I did test it.

Wow, you were very lucky! Most things wouldn't stand up to a washing like that.

I washed a pocket knife a couple weeks ago. When it was thrown in the dryer it sounded like the dryer was coming apart. It too came through the wash with no problem. It has been thus clean in years.
