Friend of mine just mounted a sidecar on a Katana. Had it profesionally done. They said the proper setup was to turn the sidecar wheel slightly into the bike. Using 8' flourescent light bulbs for straightedges, its in about 1/2".

That is the ball park adjustment and you fine tune from there. The bent bracket threw Mae Lyne's toe in way off; but I have dialed in now.
