Well............... after this summer and having to ride/drive or order parts from the nearest Triumph dealer that I trust(which incidentally is 4 hours away), I traded in my beloved Tiger Explorer 1200. Really liked that bike and had it configured the way I wanted it. It was fun while it lasted and had it 5 great years.

I told my story about the dealer issue in the Rant sub-forum and mentioned getting a Yamaha Super Tenere as a replacement. Stone cold reliable, and I have multiple dealers near by. Dealer down in Halifax(Liberty Cycle) had a brand new one and with some year end discounts, the deal was sealed.

Thanks, Felix. I look forward to next year's riding. We will definitely get out a few times.

Already have a few things to install. Crash bars, fender extender, the aero winglets for the front side of the fairing, rear passenger pads for the top box. Going to get a taller windscreen as the Yamaha one is woefully inadequate, and need to find a good skid plate(got my eye on the SW Motech one). See what Black Friday sales bring.
