Rode to medieval Axbridge.
Parked outside King John's Hunting Lodge. It's actually a wool merchant's house, built c. 1460. So my bike with it's sheepskin seat fits right in.
Luncheoned at the Lamb Inn, pictured on opposite side of road, so not far to walk. The inn dates back to c. 1480, so a bit newer.
There was only colourful locals there, except us. Chatted to the cowboy seen standing.
Had a salad, on account I bought a six-pack of Snickers yesterday, ate three in a row and got terrible sugar rush. Had a fourth for breakfast, a hair of the dog.
Lovely sunny English summer day. Couldn't see inside the pub, was so relatively dark. I had to ask a local where the door knob was, couldn't open door to bar.
Rode back through Cheddar Gorge. Video may follow...
