I have owned 15 motorcycles over the last 50 years.
For long distance touring including 3 Iron Butt SS1000's my HD Roadglide was the best.My BMW1200RT came in second.
Adventure bike - I had a BMW 800RT, my opinion is go dirt like my CRF450R or go street, adventure bikes don't do it for me.
I do not tour any longer most rides are 200 miles a day or less. I am done with dirt and gravel. Falling down (and it will happen) was okay when I was younger but at 65 a fall would keep me out of action for weeks.
This Street Twin is simply a great all around ride. Not too big, not too small. It has power but not excessive. It looks good, sounds good and runs great as is.
So, why do I want to add a Bobber, an RIII GT, and a Harley Lowrider ST? LOL
