I'm just loving this recession. All the boys toys are going for sale at rediculous prices. It's a buyers market.

My soon to be new hobby is bundu bashing and for that you need something like a Landy Defender which has always been on my wish list. Spent this weekend looking for just such a toy and having plenty of fun doing it. We test drove plenty of Defenders with absolute horrific faults but I have fallen in love with a really cute green jobby. Just need to check if the oil leak is serious and if the new BMW engine is registered. Dunes and Okhavango Delta - watch out here I come. :y115:

Best thing about Landrovers is the heated rear window,it keeps your hands warm when you're pushing it!

Thought all the L/Rovers over there had been replaced by Landcruisers. And proper L/Rovers don,t have heated back windows they have roll up canvas :smile:
