Yes I would have to survive that first. I have often thought about this and it must be real hard getting into that alone as everything would be screaming you on the wrong side of the road :eek:
 
I have ridden in Japan and it takes some getting used and requires concentration. The biggest factor for me was getting used to looking right when crossing a road or pulling out of a driveway. Even as a pedestrian I had to fight my habit of looking left.
 
Once I was riding with the traffic, I was at ease. But really had to concentrate on turns and which lane I needed to be in. If I had had a month or so of riding there, I think I wold have been at ease. I will say this, Japanese drivers are a lot more courteous then American or European drivers. I have also found that Canadian drivers are more courteous than US drivers.
