Thank you Sir and she is quite the touring companion :y15:

Carl very pleased with how the Kappa top box and side cases worked out on the modified Ventura rack. Holds two up luggage for a 9 day trip and easy to use and gain access to luggage with some security. Now I need to go on more trips!

I can't remember exactly what they are, but if I had to guess, I'd say they're Tourmaster or some such. I can take a closer look if anyone needs.

I ordered some Hepco & Becker C Bow mounts and Street Soft Bags. They haven't arrived yet (should be here by Friday) but they seem to be real nice and have good reviews when I could find them. Ill post more when I get them but for now here's a sneek peek ...

Very nice I was looking at those brackets and bags but by the time we purchase and ship them to Australia I would have to Rob a bank and sell my first born to afford them ha ha!

I have the Triumph leather bags made for the Bonneville. They are relatively small, but in 11 years I have never had either side full. The mounts are excellent, but as they are leather they tend to sag on their mounts. I found that some strategically placed black nylon zip ties (placed where they are not visible) will remove just about all of the sagging. I'll include some photos soon.

I would remove them, but they're a handy place to keep the registration and insurance papers, a flashlight and a few tools.

I also have those Triumph bags and had then on the bike one day only to find out they were of no use to me because they so small. So I now sit with day old (used) Triumph bags that possibly will never be used again. If I remember correctly they were not cheap either.

I'm new here and did a search for some good Saddlebags threads but their wasn't much. What I learned basically is that the Triumph bags are too small and I should get something that comes on and off easy. But I want to see some pictures and I know there must be more people on here with interests.

I'm a new rider so school me on some luggage please.

Here are what I am currently using.
Plenty for me for my work commute.
You can get the optional quick release zipper although I didn't go that way

Love these guys
