Last WW! combat vet passes on

At age 110 this vet lived all of modern history.
In my lifetime I've witnessed enormous changes, but just imagine what he witnessed!

Of course you know I meant to enter WW1 and not WW!.

I think our last WW1 passed a couple of years ago. He was living here in Florida.

Yes, our age group has seen so many changes. He witnessed the birth of aviation to landing on the moon. Awesome.

A few years ago, I was reading about a Veteran's Day parade in a nearby town where they planned on honoring the oldest living Veteran in the County...a WWI veteran.

He was riding in a limousine in the parade where at the end he was to be presented with a plaque and stuff.

But during the parade, the throttle stuck on the limousine and it went out of control and crashed into a building. The occupants were all taken to hospital and the poor guy died about three days later!

I was like.....GOD JOB folks! He survives war and everything else and then their parade ends up ending the guy's life!!!

That is really tragic. I would say it was his time and he went out being honored.
