I delayed putting my bikes away this year, but decided this would be the week.
It's almost the middle of November and the weather is getting cold and too iffy for safe riding.
But, we're under a flow of warm southern air for the next couple of days and it's going up to 15C+, and it's sunny, so a bunch of us who don't have any schedules in our lives anymore are heading out for a ride.
I'll see you tomorrow.

Seven guys showed up for the ride on a variety of bikes.
We rode two of our favourite coastal routes and the temp got up to 16C (61F) under sunny skies. We stopped at a complex called "The Whales Back" for a coffee and a snack as seen below.

Most of the bikes were Japanese. Even though some are technically "vintage" their styling is so modern it's often hard to tell

There was a token Norton (in the background) and a token Triumph along with a couple of nice CB750's.
When I got home I changed the oil and filter on the H***a and it's ready for the long winter sleep.
By Wednesday the temp will be back to the normal of about 4C and it will only get worse so that's it for this year.

Thanks for the photos Rocky. TUP It seems like it was just yesterday that you were talking about getting the bikes out for your first rides of the year.
Yeah, the summers go by all too fast CRY
For a change we had an exceptionally nice summer with a lot less rain so we got in lots of riding.
I spent today getting all the bikes ready for winter and putting them in my basement where it's warm and dry.
When it's over, it's over.

It really struck me today when I got up at 04.45am and it was already getting light that our summer has finally arrived :y54:

I think the darkness is the one thing that gets to me the most in winter as we don't really have cold except for this last one that was unusually cold and wet
