Kind of like the jack I have, I got it for raising up my mowers when changing blades. Never thought in a million years that i would be putting a bike on it. I got to use the wood idea though, and I like the strap points on the drive.

That type of jack started getting popular a couple of years ago at $100; they are now available just about everywhere from $50 - $75 depending on quality.

I've got a Larin that's done well for 3-plus years, I want to go ahead and get a 2nd one at Sam's Club for $60 that's polished and better built.
