Lane spliting anyone?????

I was told that the rider is speaking Brazilian and describing his prowess. He's 35 and been riding 20 years. Says the most important thing is looking at the front wheels of the vehicles as they turn before the vehicle..........
I saw +120 kph on his speedo and don't believe his lightening reflexes could possibly stop if traffic went "sideways" on him........

I was wondering where he was from and would have like to have understood what he was saying. I agree with what he said about the front wheel and it all these small things like this that we bikers look for giving us indication of any dangers coming our way. Another thing I do when approaching a stationary bus or big vehicle is look under the vehicles front wheels for any type of shadow that would indicate movement of a person about to walk out in front of it into my path.

Yeah well there always seem to be those that just go far beyond what is reasonable
+1 with every one , i have to say that he was the worst ! but they where all doing it and judging by the traffic i would say its probably the norm .
Well here it is the norm but not at that type of speed, we more would slowly filter through the traffic
Haven't watched it, but my biggest fear splitting stationary cars is that someone's gonna open a door.

I think I saw him on the way home from work tonight. There was a huge greasy spot between two lanes.

We can't lane split here. Frankly the way people drive, many's the time in traffic I wished I could but, within minutes some Dumb A** does something that reminds me why I am glad I can't

well it is illegal over here people do it but its illegal ! you can travell between the traffic but only by pulling out of a lane and moving to the right your not alowed to swerve in and out .
LAne splitting is illegal in Texas too but there are a few that do it. Too many pissed off people on the road around here for me to even think about doing it. Heck even if it became legal I think I would just let the others do it.

That's an understatement, with idiots like this PRATT on a bike, is it any wonder that we get draconian legislation against us. No one unfortunately remembers a good rider, but plenty will remember this PRATT. It just fuels the politicians stereo-type of bikers, and all decent bikers have to suffer the consequence's for idiots like this
