Some Hollywood talking head on TMZ said that Mila was going to back out of her date saying that she'll be shooting two new movies at the same time as the Marine Corps Ball.

But, it sounds more like this guy is just stirring up controversy needlessly.....

Mila Kunis warmed hearts and won herself a host of new fans when she accepted an invitation to the Marine Corps Ball from a soldier stationed in Afghanistan.

So, it would be quite the to-do if she were to cooly cancel on him, as at least one report is suggesting, right?

Well, yeah—and that's why it's not true!

E! News has heard that, yes, Kunis is a very busy gal these days, but that her reps are diligently working with her production schedule to make the date happen.

Sgt. Scott Moore posted a YouTube video last week in which, dressed in full patrol gear, he invited her to go with him to the Nov. 18 gala in Greenville, N.C.

We certainly hope that all goes according to plan.

It's also being reported that another female Marine has invited Justin Timberlake to attend as her date since he seemed to say he'd go if he were asked.

That is cool and I hope he goes. It is nice to see that some Hollywood stars still respect and support our military - which has nothing to do with how they may feel about the war.

OK...I admit that I love this story!!

Mila Kunis: Oh, you’d better believe I’m going to that Marine Corps Ball

First came the promise, then the rumor of cancellation, and now the triumphant confirmation. Just to blow your mind, let me toss this quote out there from her new interview with GQ:
GQ: Your new movie is called Friends with Benefits. Ever been in one of those relationships?
Mila Kunis: Oy. I haven’t, but I can give you my stance on it: It’s like communism—good in theory, in execution it fails. Friends of mine have done it, and it never ends well. Why do people put themselves through that torture?

Two clips for you here, one from today’s “Friends with Benefits” promo and the other, via the LA Times, of a cute interview with the parents of the Marine who asked her to the ball.

Exit question: Am I going to have to see this terrible movie now? Damn.
