Saturday, Mabel and I spent the morning kayaking in the Indian River. The Indian River is part of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. It was beautiful day on the water. The Indian River is salt water complete with dolphins, a few sharks now and then and an occasional gator. We saw a lot of dolphins; but no sharks or gators. IN the second pics you can see the rain clouds building. This was the remnants of Dorian. By afternoon, we had a deluge. New Smyrna got 2.5 inches of rain in the afternoon and evening with lots of lightning and thunder. We were safely in the toy hauler by then.
Lots of boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, and jet ski activity.

A lagoon and deserted beach on an island in the Indian River. A great place for a break and a swim.
