Hi All,
Just signed up to TriumphTalk so here is a little introduction.
Been riding since the early 70's and never been without a bike, a big fan of muscle bikes over the years and have owned the likes of Z1B kawasaki (When they were the things to have) XS 1100 and an FZR 1000 streetfighter that I put together using an exup frame and an ex production race engine but that had to go before it ate my licence.
Have got a GSX 1400 which I have had for 9 years and love to bits so is a keeper along side my 2012 Speed Triple that I picked up on the 1st of June this year.
I got a blinding deal on an ex showroom model which I had sprayed in Imperial purple before I took delivery, I have also fitted an HP Course low pipe, a Triumph low seat, R & G tail tidy and crash protection and a screen.
Already done a track day up at Anglesey when I attended the annual Beezumph rally, had 950 miles on the clock when I got there so was just about right to finnish off the break in period.
Am now looking to take a little trip over the water in September and catch up on some WWII history (The Maginot line this year) and do my usual yearly trip to the Nurburgring, looking forward to seeing how the Speed will handle the infamous Nordschliefe.
Hoping for some dry weather to tweak the suspension settings before I go.
More Later
Cheers
