Yip the most fun bike I have ever owned. When I purchased it back in 1977 it still had the original tires on it and had hardy been used. I ended up paying 150.00 ZAR = 19.0661 USD for it BGRIN

I didn't know they had cameras back then ! :y2: Actually i guess they did, cuz i have a few old shots but like you VERY few. Just think about todays kids....with digital cameras when they grow up, they will have literally thousands of pics of thier youth.
I had a yammie 360 myself, but it was a MX so no street riding on it. Those things were like a bottle rocket....if you whacked the throttle no telling what was gonna happen. Too much power in too light a bike ! But boy what fun !

Man it sure could take off like a rocket, I miss that bike as I went places on it that you would not even of been able to walk to. It did not go very far on a tank and I would end up using around three tanks a weekend BGRIN

Yeah, but at about 22 cents a gallon you could afford it ! Actually, gas WAS 22 cents at one point when i was about 17. I remember filling up my 10 gallon VW bug for around $2.50, or for those who aren't familiar with US dollars, that would be about 1/2 the cost of a pack of cigarettes TODAY ! Of course being the young kid you are Dave, for you it was probably 30 cents when you were 17. :y2:

I have just been looking around and found these two, so this is the sum total of my memories I have from way back then :y8:

All the people in this photo except one I still have contact with today. This was our school group boy we sure did have fun back then

The jacket I am wearing in this one I still have today and wear it to bike events :y2:
