I haven't seen Alex since he started work other than as I was getting home Friday morning he was headed out, I guess he hasn't had any complaints yet.
How do I get a job like his? On the job two days and they are flying him out Sunday for a week in Charlotte, North Carolina. Oh wait, January and he's going to Charlotte? Never mind.

For training last year during his internship they sent him to Orlando in January. I think I would rather go to Orlando.
Thanks for the kind words, he has done himself real good. Some company's may have passed on him when he was setting up his internship interviews but there was three that was really interested in him. At first he didn't want to work for a Big 4 firm, thought he would rather work at one of the mid market firms but after meeting on of the partners from the Houston office he decided the mid market wasn't where to start. What actually happened was he was singled out by the partner, not because he was the top of the class but because he had struggled after swapping majors but never gave up, kept his goal(s) in sight and plowed thru the hard times to actually making the Deans List. It was his determination to succeed that got him on the radar. It was after he was offered the internship that he found out the partner he interviewed with didn't hire the top of the class, he always goes for the ones that struggled and kept after it which is different from the partner who was the top of his class. There was even a movie about the partner and four of his college roommates and the trip they took after he graduated. The movie was one of Kevin Costner's first movies, Fandango. If you've ever seen the movie, the partner was Phil, the one that went skydiving.
