The prices that Vincent's are going for at auction is beyond all reason. People with too much money are paying the price which naturally continues to drive up the prices.
They are well beyond the means of the average person now.

Exactly Carl, when I spend on things unnecessary, I say to myself, "these $'s will no longer generate a % income, do I still want this thing I am licking my lips over?"
On the other hand my wife will push and say "money is for spending & you're dead a long time"
The problem is finding a balance.

Having said all of that, on club days I ride with a couple of Vincents. They keep up with bikes 15 years newer and they turn heads.
