When I logged in to TT this morning I found a "notification".
That's not unusual, people are always sending me messages telling me how they admire my ignorance, or suggesting I should take a rest from posting to give my brain a break :y15:. Today was very different, the notification was a friends request :y10: , now this being so foreign to me I told my wife and she explained that someone had obviously pushed the wrong button, or were starting a cruel joke. I pondered the situation and decided to accept the request but the accept friend button on my computer has rusted up and doesn't work. Now I'm up for a new keyboard all due to a mistake or a hoax from a fellow member :y1: .

Well I soaked the keys in WD40 all morning and finally figured out how to be a friend.
Wow, I had no idea friendships were such hard work.

Edit,

I've just been having a look at my new best friends profile, WOW BeautifulBC you sure have a beautiful profile picture.

There was OBVIOUSLY a software glitch in the system that Dave will have to get "geeking" on!

Hopefully it was just a one-off problem!!

If this keeps-up......God forbid we'll all be singing Kumbaya soon! :y2:

"software glitch"
That explains it, BBC was probably trying to engage the "please hide all posts from this person" button.
Now back into my cave with confidence that I like me.:y2:

Dave, your account has been hacked into, strange goings on under your user name.:y15:
Two friends, I'll have to get a bigger helmet.

Or is it possible that you're trying to join the grumpy old man club?
