well i was in court yesterday for my speeding ( 98mph ) and i got of not to bad :y52: ! well depending on how you look at it ,( as there was a good chance of a ban) any hoo ! ...

i gave a good sob story :y34: and i got 5 points on my licence and a £250 fine ! and i didn't get dangerouse driving thank god .

so allin all not to bad :y2:

Seems as if you got off fairly lightly, so I guess you have to be somewhat thankful for that. Stiff fine though!
We have a "stunting" law here and at that speed you would have lost your licence and the fine is in the thousands!!!
Probably about 1000 pounds in your money.

im just happy to still be on the road and able to enjoy my tiger ! rocky i thank my lucky stars and have learn't a lesson ! .... no speeding on main roads ( keep it for the out of the way roads :y150:)

You did very well. Had you been nabbed for that in New South Wales (my state) a good legal representation would cost $2,000 + for the day and if lucky kept your license. Without a rep I'd say $500 and 3 mths with a good history or $1,000 and 6 mths with a bit of form.
Take Harry's advice on the lotto ticket and if you win split it 3 ways, Kevin, Harry and Shane in that order. :y2:

Ouch! But i suppose you did get off lightly. How long do the penalty points stay on your licence?[

if anyone has had a Subaru lately be carefull they're fast ! :y2:
This was my last one (Dec 2009):

Oh yeah, they're quick alright :y2:.

well ive sold mine now it was just to easy to go fast ! ...even without realising it , put it this way ! when the camera got me it was under very heavy braking ....and that was 98mph i dread to think what it would av been if i hadn't spotted the camera :y10:

ye ! i just dont think there is another car on the planet ,with an engine that smooth . at junctions i used to rev mine just to make sure it was still running .
they are a great car ! mine was a twin turbo 280bhp just awsome power , ive had cars more powerfull but it was all in one hit ..... the scuby just builds from tick over to flat out and then some !
it had to go ......id have no license left !

I have a Subaru Forester and love it. It has the standard 2.5L engine which gives decent enough economy and at 170 HP it can get you into trouble the same as anything else if you step on it.
It's the first car I've had with cruise control and I use it a lot.
