ive been done for speeding ( and not slow ether ) i was traveling back to scotland from wales after seeing the family over cristmas.
we all cought the damn stomack bug when we were there , so just wanted to get home.
long story short 98mph in a 70mph just mised out on a instant ban by 2mph.
waiting for court date now :y11:
bloody speed cameras and what realy pi##es me off is that was the only time i speeded ,in 10 hours of driving :y14:

Sorry for you. Those speed cameras are deadly, you cant say sorry, or how about a warning, it's all too late when the letter arrives in the post.

When did you actually recieve notification of being caught speeding? I thought if you do not recieve notification within 14 days of the offence it was not valid?
Seems a long time since you got caught. Worth checking out. I assume it was a mobile camera on the M6, probably somewhere near Shap or Tebay?

well i suppose i did the crime i'll have to do the time ! i had a letter 2 weeks after in forming me i was being done for speeding , they wanted to now who was driving the car.
but no mention of speed or anything else at that point , so i assumed 3 points and a spot fine ! no such luck.
but cheers for the support everyone i'll let you now how it goes.

Hee hee - in my wild youth, my friends and I used to buy black spray paint and go 'black out' the camera lenses. But know they have cameras watching your every move - today, we'd be caught for sure.
