@birdman5 Jerry, does the local Cycle Gear stores mount tires for free? I know around here, if we purchase the tires from Cycle Gear, they will mount and balance them for free. That might be something to think about in the future.

I remove my wheels and take them in to have tires mounted.

I do the same and the only time I have paid for fitting is if I bought the tyres elsewhere,otherwise the fitting is free.

They very well may. I'll definitely look into that next time. It worked out about the same as if I'd bought them from the dealer. Only I got tires I wanted and not just what the dealer carried so I'm OK with it. I'll just try to better it next time.

Or you could just ride over here and we will get them mounted and balance in my garage and then test them out by riding to get BBQ or Mexican food.
