13 Years ago to the day we were moving into our new house (the one I am still in) and we had the same type of weather, remember it like it was yesterday. As we were moving in so were the builders to do major renovations to the house. Wall were being taken out in the main house to make it more open plan between the kitchen, dining room and lounge. We never had a kitchen at all for about a month or two. Lucky we decided to not really unpack all our stuff from the move and only took out the basics so it was not too bad. The builders also started doing the extension to the house converting the out buildings to a flat (apartment) and joined it onto the house so it is basically an extension off the main house. From our dinning room to the flats kitchen we have double glass doors and it really works well as we have my moth in law staving in the flat. SO she also feel part of the main house but has her own space completely.
