It's coronation day for me

Well.....not exactly a coronation but I am getting a crown - on a tooth.
Two weeks ago I had all the grinding done and a temporary crown fitted. Today I'll be fitted with the permanent crown.
From now on you can call me "your majesty", but I'll still be Rocky to my friends

All went well I'm happy to say.
The worst was two weeks ago when the tooth was being prepared. Today the crown was put in place and didn't take long at all.

I know exactly what you went through Rocky. About two weeks ago I had to have one tooth pulled and two others got root canals, ground down, and then crowned.

I never should have left it get that bad, but I'd been going to the same dentist since I was in the 3rd grade. He died and left me with no dentist. After a year or so, a couple of my old fillings came out and left those teeth hollow. They then promptly crumbled. I simply put-off finding a new dentist until I couldn't live with the pain and lack of ability to chew on one side of my mouth.

It was a lot of work to get done in one day and I paid the price for a few days afterwards....but was it worth it!!

all that in about 40 years' time.

I'm in the same boat. I can only chew on one side, 3 teeth missing in total, one about to go, at least 2 more root canals due. I'm basically screwed.
