It feels like home now

We've been on this new site for a few weeks now and to me it's as if there was never a change.
Like most people, we resist change from our comfortable rut and from what we know. I'll admit that I wasn't thrilled that we had to change again, but went with the flow and got it done.
Now, all these weks later I almost forget what the other site was like - or that there was another one.
Dave and Carl deserve afor all the time and effort they put in getting the site up and running.

Just one thing I have been meaning to ask about....

Is there any way to recover old photo album photos from the old site?

No you would need to go over and bring them over one at a time I am looking at upgrading our gallery in a few month to this PhotoPost so it has more feature as we were used to

Thank you Rocky, Gromit, Shanered, and AJ. I t took some time; but it was fun. And I learned a lot during the conversion. I really like the vBulletin software. Rocky, I thank you for your help and input into the process.

AJ, yes, the old photo album is still there and it works. Click on Media at the top of the page (in the old forum) and then go to My albums.

AJ the forum albums are still there and they work. Click on Media (in the old) forum and then click on My Albums. That said, Dave needs to give me instructions on how to get photos from there to here!

Methinks you must download the photo to your computer and then upload them again here.

I'll have to try getting there again as I couldn't do it before.

I probably have the same photos someplace on one of my harddrives, but I'm too lazy to search for them.

I don't because my hard drive crashed. I think you are right about downloading them and uploading them again. There is a way to get them from the web. But the links the album shows won't work.

Yes the whole forum works it is just that all the URL's have changed this is why it may have not seemed to work for you. Here is the old Gallery. You could actually mass download a whole gallery and mass upload it here it should not be too much of a process.

AJ I just did your one gallery for you 1978 T140V and it did not take that long and was not a complicated process at all
