I have just got back from a 3 day trip to the Isle of Skye. I set off on Wednesday morning in torrential rain up to Carlisle to meet my mate Kieron. We then set off through Dumfries and Galloway to Gourock to catch the ferry across the Firth of Clyde to Dunoon.
Dumfries and Galloway
Crossing the Clyde towards Dunoon.
From Dunoon we continued north around Loch Fyne to Inverarey.
From Inverarey the weather was a mix of heavy downpours and the odd sunny spell, so pics were a bit limited. We carried on north past Loch Awe, over the Connel Bridge and followed the coast to Ballachulish.
Ballaculish Bridge.
From here we continued on through Fort William to catch the ferry at Mallaig to the Isle of Skye.
We didn't have much time to spare. We were booked on the 6.00pm ferry, the last on of the day, and we arrived 10 mins before check in closed!
Mallaig
The ferry crossing is about 30 mins, these pics were taken on the crossing,

Approaching Skye
Once we landed on Skye we then rode to the Hotel in the Kyle of Lochalsh.
