I’ve had some expensive carbon fiber parts on a car body get broken. I didn’t get them fixed, I still have the original, but replaced them. The parts have the clear finish that shows the weave pattern. Really the weave look was why I bought them. I didn’t think they could be repaired in away not to show the damage area. The repairs shown here showed they could be structurally fixed, but none of the repairs looked like it did before the break. Still if esthetics isn’t a concern, a repair might save some money.
