Hello; I ordered a lowering kit from Lust Racing on Nov. 28, 2022. I received a form email on Dec. 1st, 2022 saying it was shipped. The Royal mail tracking code shows nothing.

Its been over 48 days now with no further reply. I'm thinking of contacting my credit card company and cancelling the transaction.

Has anyone else had PROBLEMS with Lust Racing.

BTW, I live in the USA and ordered a lowering kit for a 2017 Triumph Explorer XRx with TSAS. And the email said it was in stock.

Only thing I can tell you is that shipments from outside the USA have been delayed, partly due to economics, customs, and mostly, COVID. Shipments by cargo ship often have had to wait nearly a month to be allowed to enter port. The neighboring waters near the harbor of Long Beach, CA, have looked like a parking lot for several months (I don't know it is still true, though. I'll do a little research in the meantime. ).

Before cancelling your order, may I suggest contacting the seller asking for further details about the order, such as shipment method, expected port of entry and any delays that port is experiencing.

I have been sending them emails for a week or two but they do not answer. All I want to know is IF the order has been posted to Royal Mail the tracking number gives a notice that I will be notified when Royal Mail receives the item. SO, to me it appears Royal Mail hasn't even received it yet or Royal Mail doesn't really track mail when they receive it. But since I'm getting no response from Lust I will have to presume that Lust doesn't care.

Some more news, This morning I had an email from Lust Racing stating that Royal Mail has received the order way back on Dec, 1st but Royal Mail did not scan it into their system. Also, all Royal Mail orders are running behind. I am OK with this, I just wish Lust Racing would check and answer their emails in a more timely manner. After all, they do sell their products on-line so checking emails should be a part of that process.
Good news I finally have an answer and I am willing to wait on Royal Mail now that I know the order is with the mail service.

Royal Mail used to be my preferred shipping method when selling on eBay however they have been hit by a series of strikes for several months now and their tracking system is not as precise as companies such as DPD. They have also been hit by a cyber attack which affected international deliveries. So, all told, delays are almost inevitable using them just now. If buying from the UK it might be worth exploring other shipping methods, although not DHL who let me down badly with a delivery to Switzerland.

Having said all that, the vendor should be aware of the current problems and not only be prepared to respond to a higher volume of delivery enquiries but be proactive in advising and updating customers re delivery issues.
