It would have been chilly on 4 April when he picked it up. At least there weren't 3-4 foot snowbanks when he brought it home.

Nice! Wanted to buy a new Triumph the first year, but had to move my shop and things never clicked after that.

It was cool, not cold the day I picked it up. Now It's cold in the mornings but the biggest issue is too many deer moving around in the dark.

I know your pain. Almost clobbered a BIG doe the other evening on my way home in my car. Better to be safe than sorry.

In the 25 years I've been riding I had two encounters on a bike with deer that were so close I thought I was a goner, but both times I was very, very lucky.
Also one super close encounter with a moose that ran onto the road and scared the beejeebers out of me, but again, I was very, very lucky.

Don't recall any close encounters with deer on bike.............just dorks.
