Well my best friend thinks I am. He stopped by today while Iwas installing a Thruxton rear fender on my T100.
When I got my torque wrench out to torque the taillight andfender mounting bolts he asked why. I told him the manual says torque them to 9 Nm.
That’s whenhe said that I'm sick.
I don't understand why he said that.

Your post was probably tongue-in-cheek, but I have friends that think I'm anal and pay too much attention to detail.
For them, tight is tight, or whatever, and that's good enough.
I'll admit that I don't torque everything, and sometimes use my educated elbow to know when it's tight, but I use a torque wrench most of the time.

Yes a little bit tongue-in -cheek. If there is a torque spec. for a fastener I use it. Drives some people crazy.

lol well if you like doing things right nothing wrong with that. Um just one question what is a torque wrench BGRIN
They look like this! wrench.jpg

Maybe you need to send me some of that "mayonazie" for research and development of the proper torque specs lol.......or for me just to GET torqued! ROTFL
Lord that would be a hoot........as messed up as I am sober, it could get scary.....

Actually I would most likely sit in the corner and drool. However I have been known to steel a cop car and organize a riot of the proletariat against the aristocracy............. thats only if tequila is involved though.:y16:
