I confess to being a "Big Bang Theory" junkie.
The show was on for a couple of years before I picked up on it. It's repeated so many times on so many channels it's hard not to avoid it.
Jim Parsons is a great actor and how he can spout all that "stuff" and not miss a beat is beyond me.

I really like that show even though I don't really watch other "sit-coms".

I think what I like about it most is that it's pretty clean fun. Plus those guys are just plain goofy.

I actually named a ferret that my Daughter rescued "Sheldon Cooper".

Rocky...check out ELEMENTARY. It's sort of like MONK in that he's a genius detective who is quirky and sees clues others don't. But he's British living in NYC now and is Sherlock Holmes' grandson. His assistant is named Watson. Sounds corny, but it's good.

If you have On Demand on your cable TV provider, try to watch the various episodes of The Men That Built America.

It would even be interesting to those outside the USA as most of what they did made it's way internationally.

Especially interesting to me anyhow is how much my hometown of Pittsburgh played a role. Carnegie steel, US Steel, Westinghouse, Tesla, discovery of oil drilling, Alcoa aluminum, etc.

For anyone interested, here's a link to the History Channel's website about his program (you can see little videos of the show): http://www.history.com/shows/men-who-built-america

I have seen the promo clips for ELEMENTARY but have never bothered to watch it. I may give it a go.
