Yes we did. We spent Wednesday and Thanksgiving with Trey and his family and then went to Pensacola on Friday and spent the weekend with Mae Lyne's daughters and their families. Did not get any riding in, though.

For the first time since i got my Tbird i'm having those days. Wanna ride, too cold. Of course for you those days would likely be considered prime summer like riding weather ! :ya2:

Well, this morning it was 46. A gun to my head and i wouldn't get on the bike at 46! Of course i also won't put on 96 layers of clothing and electric gloves and all that to ride either. I have no doubt it would be doable, but to me riding is only fun when it's not a major chore or painful, and in that temp it's gonna be one or both. The coldest i ever ride is mid 50's, and thats only to commute if the ride home will be warm. Even then i'm numb by the time i get to work.

46 degrees is about the coldest I care to ride. I have ridden to PGR missions with it 31 degrees. 68 miles of that temp is numbing. However, when the day starts out in the 30's, it will generally warm up to the low 60's. The ride back was perfect. When I was in college, all I had was my bike. I have ridden to classes with the temp in the teens - and no leathers or cold weather gear. Fortunately, I only had a four mile ride.

I don't have heated gear at all; but I have a darn good winter jacket. My torso never gets cold - only my hands. I also have a good pair of ridng pants with a liner. I use a balaclava to keep my neck and face warm under the full face helmet.

We badly need the rain this side we are now on water restriction. Anyway it stopped raining and I took teh gap and got a nice ride in. A bit chilly for this time of year but it was a ride non the less :y114:
