Back in the day before car seats, helmets, and a ban on all freedom and fun, my Mom used to let me sit my little sister on the seat in front of me and give her a ride on my Suzuki TS90. We stayed on our street or in the dirt lot next to the house, she loved it! IMHO we live in fear these days and miss out on many simple pleasures.

thats true ! DILLIGAF ..... and me and my brothers did the same , in the fields around my home on an old cz 175 and a honda step through.
but theres a world of differance between that and this idiot, for a start he's on a yam wr450 enduro bike then theres riding the main roads in traffic not to mention the pavement at some quit high speeds ,and allso having no regaurd for any junctions or other road users .

A waste of police resources, they had a chopper and crew giving that bloke a bad time. As said by Dilligaf we did that kind of stuff all of the time years ago. What are we going to do wrap our kids up in cotton wool? This week I made a billy cart for my grand kids, used proper ball bearing wheels to make it really fast. Ya gotta give them a chance to break an arm, it's a part of growing up.

i agree again ! but that was a toddler who was not riding him self or with his brother or mates having a laugh !
its his dad ! who should have a bit more sense !

I also gave my kids and grandkids rides; but I was on dirt roads and in pastures; there was no traffic. I would never have done it in a city environment.
