My name is Chuck, I'm 64 & live in Reno, Nevada, USA. I've been riding since I was ten, so 54 yrs. but there have been a couple seasons when I missed out for one reason or another, I'm single & own 3 Triumph's, the first one was my 70' Daytona, I built from a basket case chopper back to mostly stock except I left the front fender off & put TT pipes on it w/aluminum J&R silencers, that was in1981 when I started the build. My second is a Barn find 1972 TR6R that I'm setting up as a street tracker, I started building it while I was sick with cancer ( I'm better now) but it still needs a few finishing touches. My newest is a1974 T140V I got for a good price & only had to put it together but the engine was assembled & frame was powder coated, I've already insured it plus registration & it should be on the road any day now. I used to race some flat track, a couple of road races back in the 80's and throughout the 90's I raced speedway, 30 yard line in 2nd division would be at my fastest and quit after a serious crash in 2001 in Sacramento, CA., just over 3 weeks in the trauma unit so it was time to give up racing. I've been a certified Triumph nut since I was a young kid, the sound, the vibration, everything about them I love! So far I am having trouble TRYING to figure out how to navigate this forum between ads jumping up ( I'm using my phone) and just trying to figure out how to post a question is proving to be a challenge, I'm not very tech savvy but I'm giving it a go & most likely I will post this in the wrong place so I apologize in advance if I messed up already.

:five: Welcome, from Northern California. I really like the Reno/Carson area. I want to ride over Hwy 88 to/from Minden, if my bladder will let me.
If you end up on hwy. 50 spooner summit, watch for rocks in the road, a couple have been big as a house!
