Oh yeah ! Can't possibly go wrong with samsung. Thats all i will buy as monitors go. For TV's i would too, but i couldn't see paying what i would have had to when i found a toshibsa cheap, and I've always had a thing for toshiba stuff even tho i'm sure the samsung is better. I just don't like spending much on TV's because if the source material sucks it doesn't matter how good the TV is, and my cable is basic and everything is broadcast in 48i. And i only watch DVD's now and then and when i do i watch them on my PC anyways. But you got the best Dave. Well, i suppose song is as good, but it doesn't get better than samsung. And if you listen closely you can hear sam singing. :y2:

I hope so as it is a bit more than what I was expecting to pay for a setup :y10:
Well, you only go this way once so if you can afford to upgrade then do it I say.
I'm sure that once the system is up and running, and you're enjoying the pleasure and satisfaction of the new technology, the cost soon fades away.
I'm not addicted to TV, but watching the HD nature and geographic channels on a flat wide screen is like being there.

Some of the National Geographic programs are awesome in HD on the LED screen. I've got to say once you experience BlueRay on the LED you will wonder what you did without it. Some of the BlueRay offerings will blow you away.

Yes, I agree. I'm so spoiled that when I watch the TV in the living room (Sony tube-type) I can hardly stand it.....and it's a good picture :y2:

That's a good choice. I've been looking at 32 inch samsung led's but not the smart ones and We are still a bit hesitant with the price of those. I too tend to only sleep in my bedroom, tv is only on for ten minutes a nite. A remote controlled lamp would be cheaper for me.

Well I have had my one since Tuesday and its great. I see I can also connected to the internet as it has a Youtube option. Looks like it can also download videos on demand from another site but I have not hooked it up to the net as yet. I now need to get a keyboard trackball combo so I can connected it too the TV and setup the internet connection options.
