I have my email filtered so any email from a person not in my address book gets auto-deleted.

me too. I have about 100 filters but some get thru somehow. some change thier addy every time so it's never the same. Or if you choose to filter by the subject line that changes too. I even have some that god knows how, but wither the same addy and everything else they make it past the filter ! They're a tricky bunch of SOB's. I could see myself hurting some of them badly if i have the chance to meet them face to face.

I don't have much of a problem with spammers, but once in a while I'll get some crap.
As for grevious bodily harm to a spammer, I'll hold them down and you two can kick the s**t out of them

I think I will now just enable box trapper on all my email accounts and be done with it. It is a bit of work top creat a white list but once it is done then no more spammers

Gmail seems to do a fantastic job stopping the SPAM.

I have a few address that I just give out and I expect spam in them but my main one I have been trying so hard to keep it clean and now they have it as well Most of the spam is filtered out by my anti spam software so I don't see it but I think it's just knowing about it gets to me. It's such an invasion of your privacy and I hate that

I get very little spam; the filters keep it out effectively. However, I do buy it at the grocery store!
